Here is an excerpt of an interview between Barack Obama and foreign affairs expert Fareed Zakaria of CNN. Obama touches on many topics surrounding foreign policy including, what he would do if Bin Laden was caught, and the state of the terrorist problem in the world today. This relationship between Obama and foreign policy is important because many believe that this is his weak point.

This is a CBS News article about how Michelle Obama, Barack's wife, is already facing heat from Republication politicians and this will likely be a trend throughout the campaign race. Early this year, Michelle said that, "For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country,” because voters are ready for change. This is obvious firepower for Republicans. However, political strategists in this article explain just how the Senator's wife may play a factor in the election.

In a recent Washington Post article, members of both political parties challenge Barack Obama's decision of choosing Joe Biden as his running mate. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani stated that Biden was the wrong choice and it plays to Obama's weakness. Also, Obama's advisers remain quiet as to why Biden was chosen but do say that his knowledge of foreign policy is a main factor. Foreign policy has been a hot topic for Obama since the start and this choice of a running mate only emphasizes the situation.

This is an interesting article in the Boston Herald about the Democratic Party hoping John McCain will choose Mitt Romney as a running mate. Apparently, the delegates and democrats in Massachusetts were more than displeased in Romney's tenure as Mass. Governor. With the former presidential candidate on McCain's short list of VP possibilities, the Democratic Party likes it's election chances if McCain-Romney is on the ballot.

Good job. Glad to see you have different sources. What would you change about the last article now that Palin is in and Romney goes back to Mass?
